Large hall

The show piece of the building is the fully renovated large hall. Dark acacia wood and red chairs create an elegant atmosphere. The entire stage tower serves as a sounding board and gives the large hall intensive acoustics. This location has one of the largest rotating stages in Europe, up-to-date theatre equipment and provides around 1660 seats. Summer after summer the Bregenz festival thrills audiences from around the world with attractive operas, plays and orchestra concerts. Used for events, the main stage itself has room for up to 1,000 people.
